For nearly two decades, Kim has been helping art-and-framing companies build and reinforce their brands through industry publications and trade shows that regularly target large audiences. He’s worked tirelessly to help exhibitors at both the Artexpo and DECOR Expo shows get the most return on investment and advertisers in DECOR, Art Business News and VOLUME magazines maximize their exposure to readers.
Since taking over the reigns as DECOR Expo Show Director last year, he’s made it his mission to breathe new life into the more than 30-year-old show with everything from a new venue to economical booth packages to a cutting-edge education program for buyers.

With more than 15 years of experience in the art and framing industry, Rita Popowicz is looking forward to representing the 2010 DECOR Expo Atlanta as an international account executive.
Rita graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and a minor in Spanish, as art and languages have always been her passion.
After a one-year stint working for Christie’s Auction House in Zurich, Switzerland, Rita returned to the United States and started to work for the Artexpo trade shows. She has been working for DECOR Expo and DECOR Magazine and Art Business News magazines as the international account manager since 2004. Rita currently divides her time living with her family in Tel Aviv, Israel and Biel, Switzerland.
RENEE PINNER

An art-and-framing industry veteran, Renee Pinner started with DECOR in 1988 and has worked in sales since 1990. She sold advertising for DECOR magazine from 1988 through 1999 and recently came back on board. She also worked as an account executive for Art Buyer’s Caravan, the predecessor to DECOR Expo, and she’s looking forward to working with exhibitors once again for an all-new 2010 DECOR Expo Atlanta.

Sure to be a familiar face to anyone who has exhibited at DECOR Expo in the past decade, Charlene Shimandle keeps setup, breakdown and everything in between running smoothly and efficiently.
For the 2010 show, she will be assisting with the logistics and education program. While handling operations for DECOR Expo during the past nine years, Charlene earned her Certified Exhibits Manager certification in 2007. Her extensive experience in trade and consumer show management will be a great asset to this year’s program.
